Tunisia has some great golf courses for keen golfers who want to enjoy a round of golf in the sunshine. Most of the golf courses are built overlooking the Mediterranean coast, close to the popular tourist resorts. The newest golf course to be built is at the Residence Golf Club, just 20 minutes from the Tunis-Carthage local airport. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones II. Some of the best golf courses in Tunisia are Tabarka Golf Course and Golf de Carthage just outside Carthage itself. Yasmine Golf Course and Golf Citrus are just two of the many courses around Hammamet. Further down the coast is Golf Course El Kantaoui and Monastir has Golf Palm Links and Flamingo Golf Course. Even the island of Djerba boasts its own beautiful links.
