Tunisia just landed at the top of many business rankings according to DoingBusiness.org. There were 175 countries involved in the survey, that assessed Tunisia’s competitiveness in the private sector and that of other countries Further, according to World Economic Forum, however, it was announced today that Tunisia is ranked as the 30th most competitive country in the world. According to DoingBusiness.org Tunisia ranked in the following areas: Doing Business (80), Starting a Business (59), Registering Property (71), Trading Across Borders (39). Also, it was announced in the September 2006 FIPA Newsletter that Tunisia has gained seven places in the 2006-2007 ranking of the Davos World Economic Forum (WEF) in terms of the Global Competitiveness Index (GCI), up from 37th to 30th place. |
